Real indian

“The real Indian is always nishtyak everywhere” – once Fedor Chistyakov sang, meaning not quite what the new owner of the ten-year-old Jeep Wrangler Laredo thought about, whistling this song on the way to the installation center “Auto Art Studio”. It will take only a few months, and the song of the group “Zero” will be the motto of this car.

It will take only a few months, and the song of the group “Zero” will be the motto of this car.

In tuning boxes on the Petrograd car spent much more time than was originally intended. The basic idea – installing the music system in an almost “naked” (in terms of audio equipment) cabin of the car – gradually acquired new ideas. At first, to create a high-quality sound stage, an alteration of the interior was required, and instead of the rear seats, a “house” grew, in which a part of the musical equipment settled. The face (read: a twelve-inch subwoofer EARTHQUAKE) this hut turned to the audience, and his back, respectively, to the forest, that is, the luggage compartment. But the construction did not end there. On the shoulders of the subwoofer construction, podiums were built for the rear speakers JBL 6×9, the back wall was exposed for better cooling of two amplifiers – a single-channel KICX HP 300-2, working in conjunction with a subwoofer, and EARTHQUAKE POWER 3400 X, which nourishes the other speakers. Then they wrapped the box and the seats with leather with a calm gray tint and completed the composition with a purely stylistic element – two chrome rods on the box, which, however, can serve as a support for heavy items transported in the trunk, so as not to damage the equipment.

If the Laredo salon now resembled the cockpit of a tower crane, then it was only a narrow instrument panel with round dials and technogenic, purely “dzhipovskimi” levers. However, the builders do not tighten the ceiling of their equipment in elegant leather, and expensive players are quite rare, especially such as JVC – SH99RB. And the “head” here is really difficult. Firstly, it is a CD player compatible with MP3 format; secondly, the front panel of this model is usually made of black aluminum, and here it is chrome plated; thirdly, the own output power of the built-in amplifier is 4×45 watts.

But even after the work in the cabin was completed, and the equipment was set up and tested, the car did not leave the workshop. Now artists took it, and soon the unremarkable body of the Wrangler covered the “Indian painting”: Comanche, prairie and other historical attributes of old America. This was the final touch.

The completely transformed car finally moved from the installation workshop to the city streets and immediately became the object of public attention. However, one of the passers-by, who admired the car at the car, could know how much its appearance is in harmony with the “inner world”. In the salon, where comfort and capacity used to be very conventional, and now quiet, warm (heated seats) and comfortable, many people listen to music and the most different. The owners of the car turned out to be versatile people, but the equipment equally well conveys the nuances of Led Zeppelin and the energy of Boney M, and even the Italian charm of Celentano. Indian melodies here, however, also sound, however, only in DJ mixes Supermax or slip interwoven into the music of “trance”.

And when the car went around and became a full member of the family, he had a motto. True, its meaning no longer refers to the car, but to its owner: a real Indian can get comfortable anywhere and enjoy life. Even if he drives a cult but damn uncomfortable car, he can solve this problem without resorting to the help of hallucinogenic mushrooms or the tube of the world filled with something suspicious.
